Job summary

ALC, a fast-growing, fully remote CFO advisory, outsource HR services firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage client tasks and ensure top-notch financial services using platforms such as QuickBooks Online.

You will collaborate with staff accountants, controllers, and shared service specialists to deliver accurate month-end close, reconciliations, and tax support while upholding GAAP and internal controls. This role offers flexibility and growth within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and supportive schedules (prepaids, fixed assets).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and company policies.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience with CPA still preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute balance sheet reconciliations with supporting schedules.
• Maintain schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, etc.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare sales tax returns and 1099s as required.
• Ensure accuracy of financial information and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with audit or tax teams for client engagements.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and staff accountants.

As a Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be acting as a key contributor in managing and executing reputed company tasks for various clients.
