Responsibilities

• As a Sports Content Editor at EssentiallySports: You’ll be editing and publishing 20-25 articles each day, always keeping the high quality of EssentiallySports at the forefront
• Every article you touch will be fact‑checked, well‑researched, and ready to deliver value to our readers
• Your deep understanding of our audience will help you fine‑tune content, enhancing its impact and relevance even after it's been published
• You’ll work closely with a skilled team of writers, editors, and content managers in our fast‑paced newsroom, alongside the content quality (CQ) team, to constantly refine and elevate the content we publish
• As a mentor, you’ll inspire and empower writers, helping them grow and evolve as contributors to the team
• Timeliness is key by staying on top of breaking news, you'll ensure our readers are always up‑to‑date as events unfold
• This role will see you working six days a week, aligning with a schedule that meets the needs of our US audience
