Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Splunk Specialist to lead deployments, upgrades and troubleshooting across large-scale environments, with hands-on work on multi-site Search Head and Indexer clusters.

The role covers Splunk configuration files, data models, acceleration and Summary indexes, plus developing custom apps with JavaScript, HTML and Python to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Splunk deployment and upgrade experience.
• Good work experience on Splunk large deployments.
• Experience with props.conf and transforms.conf for data manipulation.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to Splunk environment.
• Experience configuring Search head and Indexer clusters in multisite.
• Expert knowledge on Splunk configuration files.
• Experience in hardening Splunk platform.
• Experience in creating Splunk Data models, Data model Acceleration and Summary indexes.
• Experience dealing with Splunk tokens for interactive dashboards.
• Ability to create custom Splunk Applications based on requirements.
• Splunk development skills using JavaScript, HTML and Python.
• Ability to create new Splunk commands based on requirements.
• Ability to create new custom visualizations as per customer requirements.
• Basic networking concepts for troubleshooting communication issues between Splunk
