Job Description

Role Summary

Provide support, design, and optimization for Azure cloud infrastructure, with a focus on hands‑on engineering, automation, troubleshooting, and mentoring peers.

• Candidate should be willing to work in 24x7 shifts.
• Candidate should have 5–10 years of experience in production operations, specifically managing production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure Azure environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Build and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux Server environments (RHEL, Rocky, CentOS, Ubuntu) including server deployment, migrations, upgrades, patch management, remediations, business continuity, operational and disaster recovery.
• Write Bash scripts for automation and diagnostics; Python scripting is a plus.
• Handle Docker containers and Kubernetes (AKS) clusters.
• Set up and support CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Experience in handling Change requests, deployment cycles and application updates through azure environment.
• Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and implement automation for efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services, Linux systems, networking and data pipelines including VM based open‑source technologies like Kafka, Spark, Storm, GG. MongoDB.
• Contribute to system monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Experience with monitoring tools and platforms (e.g. Grafana).
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding and exposure to Agile framework.

Required Skills

• Demonstrate expertise in deploying and managing enterprise‑scale Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, storage, and identity management.
• Expert in advanced Linux usage and system administration.
  
• Proven expertise in automation and configuration management.
  
• Advanced scripting with Bash; experience with Yaml, Python, awk and sed is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) in production.
• CI/CD pipeline design and management using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance standards.
  
• Strong analytical and incident management skills, with a commitment to operational excellence.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools in Azure.
• Responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting daily operational issues, and resolving technical problems to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across multiple teams

Desired Skills

• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) certification (required).
• Proficient in Linux system Administration.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and open telemetry.
• Familiarity with security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
