Job summary

SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking a focused software engineer in Bengaluru to design and deliver Spring Boot microservices and modern front-end interfaces using Angular. You will collaborate in an Agile team, work with Docker and Kubernetes, and participate in CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience in Java/Spring ecosystems, cloud-native development, and hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) while thriving

• Minimum 4 years in developments using Spring Boot & Cloud framework and microservices.
• Minimum 4 years in IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Spring Boot microservices and related backend services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to Agile processes and ensure timely delivery while maintaining code quality.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Technologies: Front-end :AngularType ScriptJava ScriptNode.JS
• Proficient in Java Profile required
• Good knowledge of Angular
• Good experiance in UI Development
• Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI CD
• Knowledge of pair programming, continuous integration and test-driven development;
• Knowledge of design and modeling relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases;
• Working collaboratively / Tools: GIT;
• Methodologies: Agile;
• Ability to work in a team, acting proactively;
• Solution oriented person, with ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines;
• Analytical and good communication skills.
