Job summary

P99Soft is seeking a Specialist SDET in Pune (Hybrid) to join our QA team and drive test automation, API testing, and quality assurance across the software delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 7–9 years of SDET experience, strong OO programming in C# or Java, and hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, CI/CD, and SQL data validation.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience as an SDET.
• 2+ years of API testing through code.
• Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) in C# or Java.
• 2+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Grid, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2016+ and Git.
• 1+ year of experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of test automation, ad-hoc testing, code coverage, ROI, and testing risks.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in story refinement sessions to understand requirements, dependencies, and testing needs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to deliver high-quality software.
• Design, write, maintain, and execute test cases, including ad-hoc testing.
• Automate prioritized test cases within sprint timelines.
• Perform API testing through code and validate application functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and quality.
• Monitor Azure releases for regression defects and environment-related issues.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Coordinate testing activities with geographically distributed teams.
