Job summary

Nordex SE in Chennai, India is seeking a Specialist for Quality Logistics Analytics & Support. You will provide technical and quality support to field staff, surveyors, and contractors, and manage KPI dashboards for transportation quality.

You will analyze data, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement within the logistics chain. The role requires fluency in English and Tamil, practical knowledge of ServiceNow, Upvise, MS Office, Power Platform, SAP, and Teamcenter, and

Qualifications

• Background in non-conformity management, data analytics, or logistics.
• Ability to analyse technical reports, cluster/process data, and manage KPIs.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, Upvise, MS Office, Power Platform, SAP and Teamcenter.
• Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Fluent in English and Tamil; knowledge of Hindi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and quality support to outbound field staff and contractors across locations.
• Analyze vessel loading/unloading processes and performance, develop dashboards.
• Monitor transportation KPIs, quality topics, and continuous improvement actions.
• Coordinate with Logistics Engineering on transport requirements and changes.
• Contribute to Logistics Committee with improvements proposals.
• Align supplier and blade quality with transport quality standards.

YOUR TASKS:

Give technical and quality support to:

• The Outbound field support staff working in the different locations wherewind turbine components are handled.
• The pool of surveyors verifying vessel loading and unloading
• External contractors participating in the transportation chain, from factory to installation site.
• All Nordex internal staff needing technical or quality support regarding transportation.
• Performance management for transportation, measuring manufacturing , road transport companies, ports of origin and destination, tools and components. Dashboards and KPI creation and analysis.
• Identification of repetitive problems and continues improvement action.
• Logistics Operations: Support on Quality topics with the operational activities during pre-run, main-run, and final-run phases.
• Logistics Engineering: Any issue related to current or in development transport requirements established by Logistics Engineering department.
• Logistics Strategy: Identify improvements or changes to be presented in Logistics Committee, contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Installation Quality Assurance: supporting on transportation technical topics and support on root cause analysis and corrective actions when needed.
• SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance): Alignment of transport-related issues linked to supplier manufacturing processes.
• BQA (Blade Quality Assurance): Alignment with blade manufacturing aspects impacting transport quality and integrity.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Background in non-conformity management, or data analytics or logistics
• Analyse technical reports and checklists, cluster, and process data (Ability to manage KPIs and performance monitoring for logistics quality activities).
• Experience in digital tools such as ServiceNow, Upvise, MS Office Suite, MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), Team Center, SAP and digital quality platforms
• Practical knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to manage KPIs and performance monitoring for logistics quality activities.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow, Upvise, MS Office Suite, Team Center; familiarity with ERP systems and digital quality platforms.
• Ability to conduct problem solving activities, technical analysis and investigations, root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
• Fluent in English & Tamil (spoken and written); additional hindi languages is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining Nordex quality standards.
