Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - F&A - FP&A to join our AI-driven finance team in India. The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and building dashboards with Power BI or Excel.

You will work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and procurement, contributing to financial modeling, process improvements, and internal controls in a fast-moving, innovation-led environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce/economics/finance.
• CFA/CFP/CMA/CPA certifications listed in the profile.
• Strong foundation in FP&A and financial modelling.
• Experience with GAAP/IFRS and financial statement analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• English language proficiency at least high-intermediate (B2).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting across departments and consolidate data.
• Track KPIs and build dashboards to monitor performance.
• Support financial modelling, scenario analyses, and planning.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement to explain financial impact.
• Identify FP&A process improvements and support automation initiatives.

Job Description

• 1. Financial Reporting & Analysis Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support variance analysis by comparing actual results to budget/forecast. Help identify trends and provide insights into business performance.
• 2. Budgeting & Forecasting Participate in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles. Gather and consolidate data from different departments for accurate forecasts. Support the development of financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• 3. Business Performance Monitoring Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in building dashboards. Monitor financial and operational performance against strategic goals. Provide actionable insights to management based on data analysis.
• 4. Data Management & Financial Modeling Support the maintenance and enhancement of financial models (Excel or BI tools). Collect and analyze financial and non-financial data from internal systems. Assist in scenario and sensitivity analyses for strategic planning.
• 5. Cross-functional Collaboration Work with departments such as sales, operations, and procurement to understand financial impact. Assist in communicating financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
• 6. Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in existing FP&A processes and suggest improvements. Learn and help implement automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Excel macros).
• 7. Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data reporting. Adhere to internal control procedures and support audit requirements.
• 8. Learning & Development Actively participate in training sessions and mentoring programs. Stay updated with financial and industry trends to enhance analytical skills.
