Job summary

Ericsson in India (Noida) seeks a SME for Transport Fixed Network Design for B2B services. You will own end-to-end design, from service orders and IPTV-agnostic verification to circuit design (MPLS-VPN, fiber, GPON) and provisioning hand-off.

You will work across teams to validate feasibility, plan capacity, and ensure accurate documentation. Strong fiber and transport domain expertise are essential for successful design and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in service order intake, verification and validation in CIA Logical.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (PDF, Engineering, Sales, NOC).
• Proficient in creating high- and low-level designs for B2B enterprise services.
• Strong design accuracy verification and feasibility review capabilities.
• Capacity and bandwidth planning for telecom networks.
• BOQ/BOM preparation and equipment issuance process management.
• Documentation management and design governance with traceability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out IP/MPLS network design for B2B networks and ensure service readiness.
• Handle L2/L3 VPN tech like IP/MPLS VPNs, VPLS, EVPN and routing protocols.
• Plan IPv4/IPv6 addressing, VLANs, VRF, PW IDs, and VPRN IDs for activation.
• Design MPLS-VPN circuits with resiliency planning and HQ path verification.
• Perform fiber termination planning and last-mile access design (GPON, FTTH).
• Coordinate with internal teams for change management and migrations.
• Document designs, maintain data records and support provisioning hand-offs.
• Track KPIs and ensure on-time delivery of design-related services.
• Support incident analyses and root-cause investigations for design gaps.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders across teams and customers.

SME responsible for Transport Fixed Network Design for B2B Corporate Services.Covers service order management, circuit design (MPLS-VPN, Fiber, GPON),port reservation,VLAN/VC/PW ID/VPRN ID verification, equipment issuance,and design closure into the provisioning system (Linxwork).

• L2/L3 VPN technologies: IP/MPLS VPNs, VPLS, EVPN
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and static routing
• IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnet planning and routing table validation
• VLAN, VRF and QoS design and classification
• MPLS-VPN circuit design, HQ path verification and resiliency planning
• VLAN, VC, PW ID and VPRN ID parameter design for service activation
• Fiber termination and media planning & design (FTTH, GPON, Copper, L2)
• Last-mile connectivity and access technology design (ADSL, SHDSL, GPON, MPLS)
• Enterprise Internet, DIA, VPN and Leased Line solution planning
• Metro Ethernet and Carrier Ethernet solution design
• ILL and fixed broadband (FTTH/GPON) planning and optimization
• Network topology, path design, redundancy and resiliency planning
• Voice integration: PBX/PABX/IP PBX, FXO/FXS, SIP lines and SIP trunks
• Strong IP and transport domain expertise with deep understanding of fiber technologies
