Job summary

LTM is seeking an experienced Ab Initio ETL Developer to design, develop, test and support ETL workflows for large-scale data processing. You will implement extraction, transformation and loading logic from multiple sources into DW marts and work with EME for metadata management and deployment.

You will collaborate with business analysts and data modelers to convert requirements into scalable ETL designs, perform validation, tuning, and ensure production SLAs.

• Over two decades of hands-on Ab Initio ETL development experience.
• Strong expertise in AB Initio GDE graphs and transforms.
• Proficient in EME metadata management and deployment workflows.
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with data warehousing, DW marts, and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support ETL workflows using Ab Initio for large-scale data processing.
• Implement ETL logic from multiple sources into target data stores.
• Collaborate with analysts and modelers to translate requirements into scalable ETL designs.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, error handling and performance tuning of ETL jobs.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and data governance guidelines.
• Prepare technical docs, design mappings and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot production ETL issues and meet SLAs.
• Work in Agile/DevOps delivery models and document lineage.

• Implement data extraction transformation and loading logic from multiple source systems into target data stores DW marts
• Work with Ab Initio EME Enterprise MetaEnvironment for metadata management version control and deployment
• Develop reusable components such as transforms XFRs DMLs parameter files and reference data structures
• Perform data validation reconciliation error handling and performance tuning of ETL jobs
• Collaborate with business analysts and data modelers to understand requirements and convert them into scalable ETL designs
• Support production ETL jobs troubleshoot issues and ensure adherence to SLAs
• Follow coding standards naming conventions and data governance guidelines
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation ETL design documents mappings and operational runbooks 26 years of hands on experience in Ab Initio ETL development
• Strong expertise in Ab Initio GDE graph development transforms and Unix shell scripting
• Working knowledge of Ab Initio EME for metadata versioning and collaboration
• Good understanding of ETL concepts data warehousing and data integration patterns
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
• Experience handling large data volumes and performance sensitive ETL jobs
• Familiarity with UnixLinux environments
• Strong analytical debugging and problem solving skills Experience in banking financial services or enterprise DW programs
• Exposure to scheduling tools Control M or equivalent
