Qualifications

We’re Hiring | Sourcing & Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer – Electro-Mechanical Systems

TRANTRONIX Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and technically proficient Sourcing & SQA Engineer to join our Electro-Mechanical Systems (Motor & Generator) division.

This is a hands‑on engineering role involving Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality Assurance, Vendor Development, NPD, component validation, and system integration across automotive applications.

Role: Sourcing & SQA Engineer – Electro-Mechanical Systems

Department: Strategic Project Division – Design & Development

Experience: 1–6 Years

Grade: E03/E04

Location: Gurgaon, NCR

Salary: ₹4.0 – ₹9.5 LPA, based on experience and skill set

Joining: 30–60 Days

  • Identify, evaluate, develop and onboard suppliers for electro‑mechanical, electronic and mechatronic components.
  • Drive RFQ, technical evaluation, zero‑based costing and commercial negotiations.
  • Coordinate with R&D and suppliers on drawings, specifications, BOMs and technical requirements.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, technical audits and manufacturing capability evaluations.
  • Support prototyping, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis of component‑level issues.
Supplier Quality Assurance
  • Drive APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA activities for new components and suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier process and system audits with focus on ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Lead supplier quality issue resolution using 8D, 5-Why and Fishbone methodologies.
  • Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee First Article Inspection (FAI) and prototype validation.
  • Work with R&D teams to validate motors, generators, solenoids, actuators, power modules, sensors and related components.
  • Review supplier testing protocols covering electrical, mechanical and environmental testing.
  • Support integration of components such as motor stacks, windings, cores, gears, shafts, encoders and resolvers into complete systems.
  • B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
  • M.E./M.Tech in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of electric motors, generators, actuators and solenoids, including manufacturing processes and failure modes.
  • Knowledge of MOSFET/IGBT power modules, analog/digital circuits, encoders, resolvers and switches.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, PCB layouts and GD&T.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
  • Exposure to ANSYS Maxwell/Motor‑CAD, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice or LTspice is preferred.
  • Knowledge of EV/HEV powertrain systems, ADAS, autonomous driving, HIL testing and vehicle communication protocols will be an advantage.
