The ideal candidate holds MBBS with MD/DNB Radiology or DMRD, has strong diagnostic and reporting skills, and can work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• MD/DNB Radiology or DMRD or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in general ultrasonography and Doppler studies preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and interpret ultrasound examinations including abdomen and pelvis, obstetric and gynecological scans, small parts, Doppler and vascular studies, and musculoskeletal scans.
• Prepare accurate and timely ultrasound reports.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records.
• Supervise and guide sonography technicians and support staff.
• Participate in hospital clinical meetings and continuous medical education activities.

Qualification: MBBS with MD/DNB Radiology, DMRD, or equivalent qualification with expertise in ultrasonography and diagnostic imaging. Sonologists are medical doctors trained to perform and interpret ultrasound examinations independently.

About the Opportunity

A reputed Multi-Specialty Hospital in Nagarbera, Kamrup, Assam is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sonologist to join its diagnostic imaging team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting and interpreting a wide range of ultrasound examinations and providing accurate diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret ultrasound examinations including:
  • Abdomen and pelvis
  • Obstetric and gynecological scans
  • Small parts (thyroid, breast, scrotum, etc.)
  • Doppler and vascular studies
  • Musculoskeletal and soft tissue scans
• Prepare accurate and timely ultrasound reports.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records.
