Job Description

I2DS is seeking a Solutions Lead, Development to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills to deliver innovative software solutions, guide development teams, and align technical outcomes with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end software solutions for clients across manufacturing and life sciences industries
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution architectures
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders during solution delivery
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery
• Oversee integration of software solutions with existing enterprise systems such as MES, ERP, and SCADA
• Drive solution reviews, design walkthroughs, and technical demonstrations for clients
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align development timelines with project schedules
• Ensure solutions comply with industry standards including GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and GMP guidelines
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tools, and methodologies
• Prepare technical documentation including solution design documents, integration specs, and user guides
• Present solution progress and technical updates to executive-level stakeholders

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a solutions lead or senior technical role
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET, ASP.NET, Java, or similar enterprise development technologies
• Proven experience delivering solutions in Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or Industrial automation environments
• Hands‑on experience with MES platforms and manufacturing process integration is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Excellent client‑facing communication and presentation skills
• Strong documentation skills — solution designs, technical specs, and architecture diagrams
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with validated application systems and GMP compliance is a definite plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
