Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Bengaluru is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Global Sales engineering team. This onsite role focuses on software development, programming enhancements, and integration for enterprise solutions.

The candidate will work with Python and Ansible, perform testing, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective software for customers across multiple geographies. English proficiency required; on-site work from an HPE office in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Typically 2–4 years of experience
• Strong Python and Ansible development experience

What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

• Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
• Detailed design of the software/application module
• Define test plans, unit/functional test cases for the software developed and integration into overall solution
• Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
• Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.

What you need to bring

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Typically 2-4 years experience

Knowledge and Skills

Software development experience in Python, Ansible and test automation. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Basic understanding of Virtualization/Cloud and Data center management solutions
