Job summary

Tiger Analytics is seeking a visionary Azure Databricks Architect / Senior Solutions Architect to own end-to-end architecture for next-gen Data & GenAI ecosystems on Microsoft Azure. Hybrid work locations include Bengaluru/Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Delhi NCR.

You will lead architectural blueprints, target-state topologies, and production-ready platforms uniting modern Lakehouse architectures with state-of-the-art Generative AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on total IT experience with strong Architecture & Solution Design background (Mandatory)
• Proven track record in Enterprise Architecture, System Design, and hands-on solutioning with Generative AI (LLMs, RAG frameworks, Vector DBs, Databricks Mosaic AI / Azure OpenAI)
• Minimum 6+ years dedicated to Azure Data & AI Stack (Azure Databricks, ADLS, ADF/Synapse, Delta Lake)
• Note: Profiles with less than 8 years of total experience or lacking end-to-end architecture and Generative AI design expertise will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural strategy, high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) for enterprise Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and AI platforms on Azure Databricks.
• Architect and operationalize Generative AI pipelines, RAG frameworks, agentic workflows, model serving, and fine-tuning with Mosaic AI and Azure OpenAI.
• Design scalable, metadata-driven data ingestion, quality validation, and transformation for batch and real-time workloads.
• Own the full lifecycle from discovery to production deployment with strong governance and reference designs.
• Establish guardrails: logging, data lineage, RBAC, model monitoring, and LLM evaluation metrics.
• Drive ADRs and architectural reviews, ensuring best-in-class engineering benchmarks across teams.
• Interface with client CTOs and data scientists to articulate blueprints, trade-offs, and value delivery.
• Mentor seniors and build GenAI design patterns and CoE initiatives.

In this role, you will spearhead architectural blueprints, define target-state topologies, and deliver resilient, production-ready enterprise platforms uniting Modern Lakehouse architectures with state-of-the-art Generative AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Architecture & Solution Design: Lead architectural strategy, high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), and technical governance for enterprise Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and AI platforms using Azure Databricks and the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem.


• Generative AI & LLM Solutioning (Mandatory): Architect and operationalize robust Generative AI pipelines, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, agentic workflows, model serving, and fine-tuning pipelines using Databricks Mosaic AI, Azure OpenAI, Vector Databases, and LLMOps frameworks.


• Framework & Pipeline Engineering: Architect scalable, metadata-driven frameworks for data ingestion, quality validation, and transformation across complex batch and real-time streaming datasets to feed downstream analytical and GenAI workloads.


• Full Lifecycle Implementation Ownership: Own the entire lifecycle of enterprise solution architecturefrom pre-architecture discovery, business requirements translation, and platform selection to architectural governance, reference designs, and production deployment.


• Observability, Security & LLMOps: Establish enterprise-grade guardrails including unified logging, exception handling, data lineage, LLM evaluation metrics (hallucination, ground truth, toxicity), RBAC, and model monitoring to guarantee platform resilience.


• Technical Ownership & Code Governance: Retain full architectural authority over complex modules, driving technical reviews, architectural decision records (ADRs), and enforcing best-in-class engineering benchmarks across teams.


• Strategic Advisory & Collaboration: Interface directly with client CTOs, Enterprise Architects, Data Scientists, and Business Consultants to articulate solution blueprints, trade-offs, and value delivery for mission-critical Data & AI ecosystems.


• Mentorship & Capability Building: Mentor senior data engineers and designers, establish reusable GenAI design patterns and accelerator frameworks, and spearhead organizational center-of-excellence (CoE) initiatives.
