Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to create exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests in existing deals.
- Create an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures scalable, reliable, and manageable systems.
- Provide solutioning for RFPs received from clients and ensure overall design assurance.
- Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be solutions including systems, shared infrastructure services, applications to better match business outcome objectives.
- Analyse technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration solution design framework/architecture.
- Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions.
- Define and understand current state solutions, identify improvements, options & tradeoffs, and define target state solutions.
- Document and sell architectural targets, recommendations and reusable patterns.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem.
- Work closely with various IT groups to transition tasks, ensure performance and manage issues through to resolution.
- Produce detailed documentation of the architectural design and solution.
- Validate the solution/prototype considering technology, cost structure and customer differentiation.
- Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis, and provide relevant solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, program/project, consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture.
- Track industry and application trends and relate to current and future IT needs.
- Provide technical and strategic input during the project planning phase.
- Collaborate with all relevant parties to review objectives and constraints.
- Identify implementation risks and potential impacts.
- Build relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects and stakeholders.
- Develop and establish relevant technical, business process and overall support metrics (KPI/SLA).
- Manage multiple projects and report status of major assignments.
- Identify technical, process and structural risks; prepare mitigation plans.
- Ensure quality assurance of all architecture or design decisions.
- Recommend tools for reuse, automation to improve productivity.
- Lead development and maintenance of enterprise framework and artefacts.
- Build effective relationships across product teams.
- Ensure architecture principles and standards are applied consistently.
- Support pre‑sales team in presenting solution design.
- Negotiate, manage and coordinate with client teams.
- Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability to win confidence.
- Ensure completion of necessary trainings and certifications.
- Develop POCs, case studies, demos for new growth areas.
- Write white papers, blogs and present point of view on solution design.
- Speak in forums as voice of Wipro’s Thought Leadership.
- Mentor developers, designers and junior architects for career development.
- Contribute to architecture practice by conducting interviews.
- Anticipate new talent requirements and hire appropriate resources.
- Ensure onboarding and training for team members.
- Build internal talent pool and manage career progression.
- Manage team attrition and drive diversity in leadership positions.
- Set goals, conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Lead engagement initiatives and track satisfaction scores.
- Maintain performance metrics (Performance Nxt).
Qualifications
- Elastic AIOPS experience.
- 8-10 Years of relevant experience.
- Strong architectural design skills.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.
