Zones IT Solutions seeks a Solution Architect – EMEA to design scalable IT solutions for enterprise clients across the EMEA region. You will collaborate with Sales, Delivery, technology partners, and customers to drive solution design, presales strategy, and compelling proposals.

You’ll craft design and pricing plans, engage with vendors, and work with delivery to review and sign off on solutions, while guiding account planning and sales enablement.

Formación

• 10+ years of IT pre-sales or solution architecture experience with leading technology consultancies.
• Experience across hardware, software and services (Professional/Managed).
• Ability to articulate solutions in writing and during presentations.
• Knowledge of cost-to-win and price-to-win benchmarks.
• Experience working in globally distributed teams.

Position Overview:

The Solution Architect – EMEA is responsible for designing innovative, scalable, and commercially viable IT solutions for enterprise customers across the EMEA region. Working closely with Sales, Delivery, Technology Partners, and Customers, this role drives solution design, presales strategy, proposal development, and customer presentations to help secure new business and accelerate growth.

• Create the Solution Design and Offering pitch.
• Work with technology vendors and create a collaboration plan & execution plan.
• Work with the internal delivery team for solution review and signoff.
• Work with the sales team for account identification and planning.
• Run the sales enablement initiative to educate the sales and presales team.
• Qualify incoming opportunities based on capabilities, risk, timelines
• Understand all dimensions of scope of the opportunity in its minutest detail – hardware, software, services, geography, time.
• Clearly identify variables that impact the solution and elicit all required clarifications from the client.
• Work with the proposal team to ensure that the solution that has been architected and priced is articulated in a compelling manner in the appropriate submission/presentation format.
• Participate remotely or in person in solution presentations / walk-throughs with clients.
• Develop/improve processes, tools, and metrics that enhance the quality, speed, and productivity of the solutioning processes.
• Craft solution design and effort estimation for Smart hands and feet support, (Installation, Commissioning, and Testing) of EUC, Audio - Visual and Video Conferencing Systems.
• Knowledge of products and systems such as EUC, Audio - Visual, Video Conferencing , Digital signage, POS devices, UPS, etc
• Work with field services partners for solutions and pricing.
• Knowledge of products and systems such as Audio - Visual Systems, Video walls, Digital signage, POS devices, UPS, etc.
• Eye for detail and competitive intelligence in ensuring that effort estimation, pricing, scope, and assumptions strike the right balance between the ability to win it as well as the ability to deliver it.
• Ability to create competitive proposals that reflect thought leadership and alternate creative options (when required).
• Strong presentation, public speaking and written articulation skills

What you will bring to the team:

• 10+ years of professional experience in information technology pre-sales or solution architecture with leading Technology Consulting firms
• Experience should span Hardware, Software, and Services – Professional Services and Managed Services ranging from small quick turnaround proposals to those that can span a few hundred million dollars
• Ability to articulate the solution in a compelling manner in written responses, solution presentations, and when necessary presenting the solution in an oral presentation to the client
• Deep understanding of cost and price benchmarks for products and services
• Ability to price proposals competitively thru global delivery coupled with a thorough understanding of cost-to-win and price-to-win benchmarks
• Strong knowledge of the product vendors and services providers in the IT space as well as strong knowledge of the competitive landscape.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Experience working in a globally distributed team.
