Job summary

Trigent Software is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Bengaluru to contribute to product design and development. You will work on 3D modelling and 2D drafting for mechanical, piping, electrical and weldment components, reading drawings, and applying GD&T.

Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks is expected along with familiarity with PLM/EPLAN and potential automation exposure. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with global suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/production engineering is required.
• Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drafting for mechanical, piping, electrical and weldment components.
• Knowledge of reading engineering drawings and GD&T is required.

Responsibilities

• Involved in product design and development from concept to realization.
• Must have good communication and presentation skills to interact with global suppliers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of PLM and EPLAN is preferred; experience with automation is an added advantage.
