About the Role:
We are looking fora Specialist - Design (Mechanical), who thrives in a highperformance and fast paced technical environment. As aSpecialist within the Design (Mechanical) team, you will beresponsible for performing all critical tasks, ensuring that ourcustomer receives a great product.

- Detail partand assembly design, stress calculations & FEA tovalidate design considerations
- Optimisedesign for manufacturability, ease of use, cost & weight
- Detailed &clear manufacturing drawings, assembly, test and operation documentation
- Work withmanufacturing and assembly team to ensure that design ideasare fully realised
- Swiftlyresolve non-conformance to minimise impact on project objectives
- Help fellowteam members to deliver their work 'right firsttime' & 'on time in full'
- Understandproject goals and objectives and complete your task within budget
- Support teammember to learn standard operating procedures (SOP) and best practices
- Followfunction's performance and improvement processes in your work
- Apply lean& 5S visual work environment principles in your work

What you'll need:

- 4+ years oftotal working experience in related domain
- In-depthdomain knowledge gained at an education institution or self-learnt
- Fluentknowledge of SolidWorks & deep understanding ofengineering design principles
- Fluentknowledge of full design cycle of large and complex assemblyat very high-quality level
- Fluentknowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic andautomation design
- Fluentknowledge of IOT sensors integration in complex product
- Knowledge ofGD&T, fits and tolerances, aerospace materials,manufacturing processes & treatments
- Fluentunderstanding of quality management systems andISO9001/AS9100 standards
- Fluentunderstanding of lean & six sigma principles
- Fluency inengineering fundamentals and emerging technologies
- Fluent abilityto identify risks, manage them and develop mitigating actions
- Flexibility togo beyond normal work hours in time of need and supportother functions
