Job Title: Electrical Engineer Solar Plant O&M

Location: Alwar , Solar Sites are on different Locations
Experience: 2-4 years (B.Tech Electrical/Electronics)

Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance (O&M) of the solar power plant, ensuring optimal plant performance, safety compliance, and efficient reporting. The role involves technical oversight, preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and comprehensive report generation using SCADA or similar monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for solar plant equipment (modules, inverters, transformers, etc.)
• Operation and Maintenance of HT/LT Panels, transformers, MCC Panels, VCB Panels, ACB, MCCB, DOL & Starters, Delta Starters, DG Set and capacitors Banks
• Monitor plant performance and generation metrics; analyze operational data via SCADA or relevant software.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical and MIS reports on plant activities and performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with vendors and site technicians.
• Ensure quality assurance and safety standards in all O&M activities on site.
• Manage inventory, schedule maintenance, and liaise with OEMs, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards for safety, environment, and quality.

Skills and Qualifications

• B.Tech (Electrical/ Electronics) or equivalent technical degree.
• 2-4 years field experience in operations and maintenance of utility-scale or industrial solar plants.
• Proficiency in report writing, MS Office, and solar monitoring tools/SCADA systems.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
