Job summary

Edubridge Learning in Pune is seeking an experienced Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript) Trainer to deliver a structured 12-week automation program for learners under the CapgeminiBarclays PMIS initiative.

The trainer will cover software testing fundamentals, JavaScript, Playwright, API testing, Git, CI/CD, and automation frameworks, with hands-on labs, projects, and interview preparation to ready learners for Capgemini interviews. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/IT/Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
• 2+ years of hands-on automation using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong Playwright expertise and JS knowledge.
• Experience with REST API testing, Git, CI/CD, and reporting tools such as Allure.
• Minimum 2 years of formal training or mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured 12-week automation testing training covering Playwright, JavaScript, API testing, Git, CI/CD, and related tools.
• Conduct hands-on labs, projects, assessments, and code reviews.
• Mentor learners through mini-projects and capstone work.
• Track learner progress, identify gaps, and provide remediation.
• Prepare learners for Capgemini technical interviews and maintain LMS/TMS records.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript) Trainer to deliver a structured 12-week automation testing program for learners under the CapgeminiBarclays PMIS initiative.

The trainer will deliver classroom and hands-on sessions covering software testing fundamentals, JavaScript, Playwright, API testing, Git, CI/CD, automation frameworks, projects, and technical interview preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training on Software Testing, JavaScript, and Playwright.
• Conduct hands-on labs, coding exercises, assessments, projects, and code reviews.
• Train learners on API testing, Git, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Mentor learners through mini-projects and capstone projects.
• Track learner performance, identify gaps, and provide remediation support.
• Prepare learners for Capgemini technical interviews.
• Maintain training quality, learner records, and reporting on LMS/TMS platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• 2+ years hands-on automation experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, async/await, POM, fixtures, locators, assertions, network mocking, and parallel execution.
• Experience in REST API testing, Git, CI/CD, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and reporting tools such as Allure.
• Minimum 2 years of technical training or mentoring experience.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and classroom management skills.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Selenium automation experience with exposure to Playwright.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• BFSI / Financial Services project experience.
• TypeScript, Docker, mobile, or accessibility testing knowledge.
• Experience training freshers or early-career learners.

The trainer will be expected to complete EduBridge's prescribed TTT and certification process before batch deployment.
