Job summary

GlowApps Private Limited in Delhi is seeking a Junior QA Analyst to join our on-site team. You will perform manual testing across modules, design test cases, run them, and document results.

You will execute functional, regression, and API tests, identify defects with clear reproduction steps, and validate data with basic SQL queries. Experience with SDLC/STLC concepts is valued; immediate joiners are preferred.

About the role:

• You’ll perform manual testing across multiple product features and modules using established test methodologies
• Your responsibilities include designing and writing test cases and scenarios, executing them systematically, and documenting outcomes
• You’ll conduct functional testing to verify that software behaves as specified, regression testing to catch unintended side effects from code changes, and smoke and sanity testing during initial build verification
• You’ll test APIs to ensure they integrate correctly and handle requests properly
• You’ll identify defects, document them clearly with reproduction steps, and track their resolution
• You’ll work with databases using basic SQL to validate data integrity and query results

What we're looking for:

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Ability to analyze requirements, design appropriate tests, and solve testing challenges independently
• Attention to detail when preparing test documentation and reporting bugs
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Experience or demonstrated knowledge in any combination of manual testing, functional and regression testing, or API testing is valued
