Job summary

You will validate protocol stacks, perform system integration testing, and ensure reliability across devices and software.

Requirements include 6–10+ years in Software Testing/QA, hands-on experience with Docker, Wireshark, and network analysis tools, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline.
• 6–10+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA Engineering, preferably in industrial communication, embedded systems, or automation domains.
• Strong experience in protocol testing, validation, system integration testing, and defect management.
• Hands‑on experience testing industrial communication protocols.
• Experience validating communication and file transfer protocols.
• Strong experience with network testing and packet analysis tools: Wireshark, tcpdump, other network analyzers.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker for test environment setup, deployment validation, and container‑based testing.
• Experience in ODBC/database testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for C#/C++-based communication systems.
• Validate industrial communication protocol stacks and device integration solutions.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and protocol compliance testing.
• Analyze business and system requirements to derive test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Perform protocol-level debugging, packet analysis, and root cause analysis using network analysis tools.
• Validate interoperability between industrial devices, embedded systems, and software applications.
• Test and verify file transfer and network communication protocols under different network conditions such as latency, failures, and load.
• Conduct ODBC/database testing, including connectivity, query validation, and data integrity verification.
• Interpret vendor manuals and technical documentation to create comprehensive device validation test plans.
• Collaborate with development, product, QA, and cross‑functional Agile teams to identify, track, and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, test reviews, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support automation, CI/CD integration, and continuous testing practices.
• Ensure software meets quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and compliance standards.
