About The Role
As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for managing test activities in the Test Domains organization, servicing multiple categories and tasks. The role includes overall planning, budgeting, growth, delivery, process efficiency, and productivity for the respective work groups.
What You Will Do
- Monitor project health by publishing the top 10 test metrics and take corrective action when metrics do not meet criteria.
- Build and maintain quality test infrastructure and test farms.
- Manage team building, bonding, travel, CAB requests, and budget planning.
- Organize events to increase staff motivation and engagement.
- Manage suppliers and bring efficiencies to supplier deliverables.
- Handle hardware procurement and common asset management.
- Lead resource onboarding and induction programs.
- Coordinate travel for senior management.
- Monitor budget spent and forecast future spend.
- Identify supply chain problems through quality control checks.
- Maintain strong time‑management, prioritization, and communication skills to keep the team on track.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Minimum 9 years of experience in automotive and at least 2 years in test management.
- Preferred knowledge of test functions in automotive/embedded systems.
- Knowledge of testing quality standards.
- Preferred telematics connectivity ECU knowledge.
- Strong English writing, documentation, and conversation skills.
- Ability to quickly ramp up on the entire system testing perspective.
What Is Nice To Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
- Action‑oriented problem‑solving attitude.
- Quick learner of systems and architecture.
- PMP certification or relevant management certification.
