Job summary

ConnectWise is seeking a Software Test Engineer II to design and maintain Python automated tests for backend services, APIs, and network or infrastructure oriented systems. You will collaborate with Engineering to define requirements, schedules, and potential problems.

You will work in a hybrid Pune office setting, performing test automation and contributing to QA processes in a disciplined Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on 2+ years’ experience in Python programming for test automation.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation test frameworks using Python.
• Hands-on experience with API Testing (REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON validation).
• Experience with Behave (BDD) framework or similar Behavior-Driven Development frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP, client-server).
• Experience with Git/version control systems.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

General Summary

The Software Test Engineer II is responsible for designing and maintaining Python automated tests for backend services, APIs, and network or infrastructure oriented systems. This role works in partnership with the Engineering teams to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides support to the Quality Engineering teams, with a high attention to detail in a disciplined agile environment

Mandatory Skills
