Job summary

Varex Imaging Corporation is seeking a Software Tester to ensure the quality of advanced software for cargo X-ray security systems. You will perform end-to-end testing from system to UAT, focusing on Windows-based applications and imaging workflows.

You will work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams, using Selenium/Cypress/Playwright for automation and testing across Windows and Linux platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional software testing experience focused on Windows-based applications.
• Experience with imaging or security scanning domains (X-ray/CT) is a plus.
• Experience with test case design, defect tracking, and test execution strategies.
• Hands-on with automated testing tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test procedures for system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Test Windows-based applications and imaging systems for quality and reliability.
• Verify hardware/software integration in imaging/ X-ray domains.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
• Support cross-platform testing across Windows and Linux.
• Communicate defects and testing progress clearly to stakeholders.
