Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced Test Analyst, a specialist resource skilled in testing concepts, process, developing test cases, executing and reporting in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for executing assigned testing projects, gaining in-depth understanding of the CC’s business process flows/application functionalities, and ensuring high quality in accordance with CC standards and processes.

What you’ll do
Test Planning (5%)
- Participate in Test planning to provide estimates on test preparation and test execution based on requirement analysis
- Provide or escalate issues/risks to the Test Manager to eliminate bottlenecks during test case preparation and test execution
- Provide daily regular progress updates to the Test Manager on the tasks assigned
- Participate and contribute in test progress review meetings and defect triage calls by interacting with development, business users or other stakeholders for testing activities to ensure smooth delivery
Test Execution (90%)
- Review test plan
- Review Spira structure (releases, test sets, test cases)
- Review progress reporting
- Review Test Progress & Defect Triage meetings
- Create detailed test cases against requirements
- Obtain review and sign-off from BA/SMEs
- Requirements mapping / traceability matrix
- Ensure test cases are 100% covered against requirements
- Log defects against failed test cases and/or other defects not mapped to any test cases with details in Spira by classifying the defect with appropriate severity/priority
- Participate in defect triage calls to explain the significance of defects and ensure defects are retested post resolution
- Provide daily progress updates and report issues/blocks during test execution that impact timelines to the Test Manager and/or project PMs
- Extend support during UAT and/or Hypercare for any clarifications
Project Closure (5%)
What you’ll need
- Overall 4 - 7 years of experience as Test Analyst
- Good knowledge of any Contact Center application, preferably Genesys product as well as Contact Center processes such as chat, messaging, email, and voice calls to perform end-to-end functional testing
- Strong knowledge of testing techniques, manual testing, and test management tools; ability to develop and execute test scripts with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of the SDLC and the Test lifecycle
- Good understanding of the defect management process
- Collaborate with other support or dependency groups during test creation/execution/defects tracking
- Create knowledge base as appropriate
- Participate in/Conduct defect triage calls with appropriate details
- Ability to understand the big picture of the project scope or the application
- Regression suite identification/collection
- Estimate test activities for your area of responsibility
- Analyse business, functional and technical requirements and translate them into testable artefacts
- Define test data requirements to support test case design as per test standards
- Review change requests to identify impact on existing test packs
- Execute tests and capture test results as per test standards
- Assist the Test Lead/Test Managers during the test planning phase and progress reporting stage
- Assist with the creation of the test closure reports as per programme milestones if required
- Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with project, business people and third parties
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
- Technical tool training such as Postman, API test tool, Java scripting etc.
