Dassault Systèmes in Pune, India is seeking a Software QA Engineer to support core simulation software development and ensure high-quality releases.

You will interact with Development, Physics R&D and Application Management teams to contribute to product quality, run regression suites, design tests, and build automated test scripts. This role offers visibility across projects and opportunities for career growth.

• Perform manual GUI testing and convert tests to automated suites.
• Execute Test Plans and integrate into the regression suite.
• Identify low coverage areas and enhance the test suite.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts and artifacts.
• Debug, investigate, and resolve issues in test environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams to build reliable tests.
• Provide weekly status updates highlighting progress and impediments.

This is a high visibility, cross functional role with tremendous potential for project ownership and career growth in the building of Dassault Systemes’ complex simulation applications.

Position Profile:

The Software QA Engineer will support our core simulation software development, and have a pivotal role in the organization with responsibility for the quality of our software. You will interact with the Development, Physics R&D and Application Management teams as a key contributor to product quality.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Running and analyzing the regression suite on various supported platforms
• Evaluate product functionality and create Test Plans
• Manual GUI testing and converting them into automated tests
• Execute Test Plans and incorporate into the regression suiteAnalyze other areas of low coverage and enhance the suite to cover them
• Design, develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts and associated test artifacts
• Debug, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues in test environment
• Collaborate with quality engineering and software development teams to build highly reliable tests
• Provide clear weekly status to management including progress, impediments and ideas
• Contribute towards process and tools initiatives to improve our software test automation solutions
