Renesas is hiring aSoftware QA Engineer with strong software and hardware testing experience to work with hands-on automated and manual testing of customer-facing software/hardware integrations. Develop and execute detailed manual and automated software/UI test cases in Python or other OO language. Experience inelectrical engineering, Hardware debugging, hardware/firmware or embedded testing is strongly desired.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate market-leading digital controller solutions poweringAI, client, and server applications. Responsibilities include software test planning, execution, reporting, leading testing projects, automation, documentation, and debugging software connected to hardware to determine the root cause of issues, and driving product quality across the development software/hardware lifecycle.
You will work teams across the globe to generate test requirements and define test methodologies.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
2-5 years of Software QA experience, including 8+ years testing software integrated with hardware/firmware.
