Job summary

Carrerlift is seeking a versatile full-stack developer to build and evolve modern web applications using React/Next.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. You will shape data models, optimize queries, and deploy production-ready software while integrating AI features through LLM APIs.

Ideal candidates are proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and have hands-on experience with at least one project that uses an LLM API.

Qualifications

About the role

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies
• Develop responsive user interfaces and server-side logic for production systems
• Work with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and manage data persistence
• Integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into applications through APIs and specialized tools
• Deploy applications from development environments to live servers and manage the deployment pipeline

What you'll work on

• Front-end development with React or Next.js to create interactive user experiences
• Back-end development with Node.js to handle server logic and API endpoints
• Database design and management using PostgreSQL or MySQL
• AI-powered features by working with LLM APIs to add intelligent functionality
• Authentication systems and secure credential management across applications
• Version control and collaborative development using Git and GitHub

What we're looking for

• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript for type-safe development
• Solid grasp of HTML and CSS for semantic markup and styling
• Hands-on experience building at least one complete project that uses an LLM API
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding through tools like Claude, Cursor, and Codex
• Understanding of authentication protocols, environment variable management, and secure configuration
• Ability to deploy applications from local development to production URLs

Good to have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Prisma, Drizzle, Firebase, or Convex
• Knowledge of MCP servers, tool calling, multi-agent systems, and prompt evaluation techniques
• Exposure to voice AI, WhatsApp Business API, Make.com, n8n, or Zapier for automation and integration
• Background in Python, WordPress, or agency and freelance work
