Job summary

Blitz in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js and Flutter to build and optimize user-facing applications across web and mobile platforms. As an SDE 2, you will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive frontend best practices.

You will contribute to scalable UI architectures, ensure performance, and ship features from design to production while upholding Blitz’s frontend development standards across web and mobile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience in multi‑tier mobile/app architecture with native/cross‑platform development.
• Experience with Flutter/Kotlin/Swift/React Native.
• Proficiency with frontend MVC/MVVM frameworks and UI unit testing.
• Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX designers and PMs to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Architect and develop frontend solutions across web and mobile platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
• Develop/maintain scalable frontend code and optimize performance.
• Take features from design to implementation, including UI and frontend business logic.
• Build reusable components and libraries for future use.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with stakeholders.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in both React.js and Flutter. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing user-facing applications across web and mobile platforms. As an SDE 2, you will not only contribute to the development process but also mentor junior engineers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and drive best practices in frontend development.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in building mobile or cross platform applications using Flutter/Kotlin/Swift/React Native.
• Proficiency in developing frontend software, with deep experience in one or more relevant frontend MVC/MVVM frameworks, UI unit testing.
• 2+ years of experience in multi-tier mobile/app architecture with knowledge of native/cross-platform app development.
• Excellent knowledge of design principles of components, store and state management
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (such as data structures, algorithms, architecture, OO design)
• Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
