GE HealthCare in Bengaluru, India, seeks a software engineer to design, build, deliver and maintain software applications and services across machine, cloud, platform, and application domains. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle with emphasis on requirement analysis, documentation and implementation.

The role requires hands-on coding, knowledge of data structures, and experience in Lean/Agile environments, CI/CD, and cloud/edge deployment.

Formación

• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent with basic experience.
• Experience in agile environments and Lean/Agile practices.
• Awareness of CI methodologies and software security basics.
• Knowledge of web services and SQL-like queries on existing tables.
• Hands-on knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu & SLES) and cloud/edge deployment models.

In This Role, You Will

• Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
• Ability to write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.
• Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choice.

Education Qualification

Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with basic experience.

• Comfortable in building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.

• Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile.
