Senior Frontend Developer – OneQA

We are looking for a senior Frontend Developer to join our OneQA team. In this role, you are expected to work with a team of highly skilled software engineers to build new features and modernize and maintain the OneQA platform, with a strong emphasis on React, Redux, and Node.js, and an AI-first approach to software development.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications for the OneQA platform using React and Redux.
• Build and maintain Node.js based services and APIs, including real-time features using SignalR where applicable.
• Champion an AI-first approach to development, using AI-assisted coding, testing, and review tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Understand and promote Scrum/Agile.
• Work quickly to implement features with a focus on quality code.
• Provide technical guidance for more junior developers.
• Support QA, deployment, and cloud operations efforts on AWS.
• Work effectively in a globally dispersed team.

Technical Competencies

• 5 or more years of front-end/full-stack development experience with proficiency in:
  • JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+)
  • ReactJS (Hooks, Context API, component architecture)
  • Redux / Redux Toolkit
  • Node.js
  • RESTful APIs & Microservices
  • SignalR (nice-to-have) for real-time communication
  • HTML5, CSS3, responsive & cross-browser design
  • AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, CloudFront, etc.)
  • AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and prompt engineering for accelerated development
  • Git / version control
  • Unit & integration testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Enzyme)
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Modern build tooling (Webpack/Babel/Vite)
  • Performance optimization and web accessibility (WCAG)
• Experience working across UI, state management, and backend integration layers to create scalable, server-driven web applications. In-depth knowledge of front-end architecture and API-driven design.
• Extensive experience working with coded and automated unit tests. Experience with test-driven development is a plus.
• Experience integrating with backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-hosted data stores.
• SignalR or other real-time/websocket experience is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Copilot, AI code review) is strongly preferred.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• TypeScript and micro-frontend architecture experience is a plus.
