Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. in India seeks enthusiastic Salesforce developers to own application development for a complex portfolio of initiatives.

You will work with Architects, Lead Engineers, Product Owners and Business Partners to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions, leveraging AI agents to accelerate delivery. Bring 4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development, strong knowledge of LWC, Aura, Apex and Flows, and experience with integrations.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years hands-on development on the Salesforce platform.
• Deep understanding of AI tooling and AI concepts.
• Hands-on experience with LWC, Aura, Apex and Flows.
• Ability to debug performance issues, both at client and apex layers.
• Knowledge of various integration patterns and data migration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define coding standards and lead code reviews.
• Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration for Salesforce implementations.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and designs.
• Design custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop, test and deploy custom capabilities within Salesforce using Apex and Lightning technologies.
• Manage Salesforce data uploads, feeds, and other integrations.
• Coordinate new development requests and assess impact on related systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and release practices to maintain high code quality.
• Explore and build AI agents to solve business problems.

We are looking for enthusiastic developers to join our Digital Enterprise Technology team and own application development for a complex portfolio of initiatives. This role works directly with Application Architects, Lead Engineers, Product Owners and Business Partners globally. This position is more aligned with the company's strategic initiatives and programs. Being part of a team with Hybrid engineers, this individual is expected to help us ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality. Build scalable Salesforce solutions and use AI tools and agents to speed up delivery and automate business workflows.

Responsibilities

• Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed
• Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
• Familiar with source code, version management, and code deployment standards
• Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues
• Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
• Design custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, and dashboards
• Develop, test and deploy custom capabilities within Salesforce instances using Apex and Lightning technologies.
• Manage Salesforce data uploads, feeds, and other integrations
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
• Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce org and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
• Run CI/CD pipelines and release practices that keep code quality high
• Build AI agents that solve real business problems
• Turn data and requirements into well-measured solutions

Required Skills and Experience

• 4-6 years of hands-on development experience on the Salesforce platform
• Have a deep understanding of AI tooling and Artificial Intelligence concept
• Have an understanding of Salesforce AI Agenforce
• Hands on experience with LWC, Aura, Apex and Flows
• Ability to debug performance issues , both at client layer and apex layer
• Design capability which is compatible with both desktop and mobile devices
• Knowledge on different integration patterns
• Knowledge on various asynchronous capabilities in salesforce and its use cases
• Understanding of the Salesforce product suite and being able to provide out of the box solutions.
• Deep understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions
• Deep understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices
• Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture
• Understanding with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
• Knowledge of Data Processing Engineering
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
• Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL)
• Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
• Strong knowledge on CI/CD processes and enterprise pipeline setup
• Good to have : Exposure to Mulesfoft
