Job summary

FreightTiger invites a Software Engineering Intern to join our AI/Data/Logistics platform in Bengaluru. Work with senior engineers to move ideas from prototype to production, focusing on building agentic AI systems and scalable Python backends.

You will contribute to data pipelines, real-time processing, and algorithmic problem solving while gaining hands-on production exposure across the full lifecycle of features.

Qualifications

• Final year or recent graduates from IITs/NITs/BITS/IIITs or equivalent.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Exposure to Python and data pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic AI systems with tool-use and multi-step planning.
• Develop production-grade Python backends and data-processing solutions.

Software Engineering Intern -AI Data Hybrid / Remote

Join FreightTiger's engineering team to build next-generation products at the intersection of AI, data, and logistics technology working alongside experienced engineers to take ideas from prototype to production.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Agentic AI systems building LLM-powered agents with tool-use, multi-step planning, and RAG-based workflows. Familiarity with frameworks like Lang Chain/LlamaIndex is a plus, not required.
• Python engineering writing clean, production-grade code to ship scalable backend and data-processing solutions, with solid Git and debugging fundamentals.
• Data pipelines streaming designing and optimizing systems to process high-volume, real-time data. Exposure to tools like Kafka, Airflow, or Spark is a plus.
• Data Structures Algorithms applying strong fundamentals to solve engineering problems at scale.
• Full lifecycle exposure collaborating directly with senior engineers and product teams, including testing and evaluating what you build in production
