Job summary

PocketFM in Bengaluru is seeking a frontend engineer to design, develop, and maintain highly responsive web apps. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, optimize for speed, accessibility, and SEO, and mentor juniors. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern tooling is expected, with a strong eye for UX and quality code.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in frontend development with strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and modern web ecosystems.
• Experience with state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
• Solid understanding of web performance, browser rendering, and SEO best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a good grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, etc.
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• A good sense of UX/UI and a keen eye for detail.
