Job summary

PhonePe Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and own cloud architecture components, from requirements gathering with stakeholders to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

You will optimize procurement, provisioning, patching, migration and retirement of instances, drive compliance, and bring a DevOps mindset to scalable solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in software development.
• Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current technologies.
• Proficiency in Rust, Go or Python.
• Strong networking fundamentals and systems knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud tech such as Mesos, KVM/QEMU; NodeJS/React helpful.

Responsibilities

• Acquire product requirements and design an optimal solution with stakeholders across domains.
• Develop and maintain in-house cloud architecture components for provisioning, patching, migration and retirement.
• Own the implemented solutions end-to-end from inception to deployment and monitoring.
• Identify infrastructure-wide problems and provide scalable solutions.
• Measure and increase compliance of solutions; bring a DevOps mindset.

Job Description

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in Software Development
• Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current technologies
• Proficient in at least two of these languages: Rust and Go or Python.
• Good in networking fundamentals/systems knowledge, exposure to open source technologies
• Good in data structures/algorithms
• Awareness of cloud technologies, Mesos, KVM/QEMU, NodeJS/React will be good to have.
