Job summary

Cisco Silicon One Bangalore is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the Silicon One team. You will develop core software technologies spanning API, algorithms and firmware for tomorrow's infrastructure.

Collaborate with architecture and design teams to define next-generation ASIC products, contribute to the full software stack, and help deliver Cisco Silicon One's high-performance networking solutions (50+ Tbps).

Qualifications

• BE or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong background in C++.
• 8+ years of experience in Software Development, 5+ years in C++ or Embedded Development.
• Familiar with Networking technologies and concepts.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills, while being self-motivated with a focus on execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop core software for infrastructure solutions from API to firmware.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to define next-gen ASIC products.
• Contribute to the Silicon One software stack.
• Join Cisco Silicon One Bangalore core center of Cisco SW development.

You’ll develop core software technologies at the heart of tomorrow's leading infrastructure solutions, tackling the entire range of challenges from user-facing API-s, through high-level algorithms, all the way down to firmware.

• Craft and develop software driving the world's most complex infrastructures
• Gain intimate knowledge of world-class silicon and programming models
• Work with architecture and design teams to define the next generation of ASIC products being developed.
• You’ll be joining Cisco Silicon One Bangalore team which is the core center of Cisco's SW and ASIC design.

Minimum Requirements

• B.E or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field, from one of the top universities, with excellence
• Strong background in C++
• 8+ years of experience in Software Development, 5+ years of experience in C++ or Embedded Development
• Familiar with Networking technologies and concepts
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills, while being self-motivated with a focus on execution.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in Python
• Ability to quickly ramp on multiple, interdisciplinary domains
• Love for solving complex problems
