Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, and declarative tools. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Experience developing software on the Salesforce platform.
• Experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, APIs, testing).
• Experience in Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces aligned with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
• Develop backend logic, integrations, and APIs using Apex, REST/SOAP services, and platform events.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, SFDC Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and scalability
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in release management
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to ongoing system improvements
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes
