Job summary

DTCC in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced BI Publisher/Oracle Analytics Cloud Developer to design and maintain templates, reports, and dashboards. You will transform data via SQL/PLSQL, build advanced data models, and ensure delivery of compliant, well-documented outputs for internal and external stakeholders.

The role involves developing RTF templates using BI Publisher, creating interactive dashboards, and supporting both on-site and remote work as part of a hybrid model.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role

The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re‑engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in‑depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and/or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end‑users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems. The Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) & BI Publisher Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Report Templates, operational reports, and interactive dashboards. Specialization in transforming complex XML data and SQL queries into highly formatted RTF templates to support enterprise business needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Template Development: Design, customize, and maintain pixel‑perfect, customer‑facing, and statutory documents using BI Publisher's RTF (Rich Text Format)
• Data Modeling: Create advanced Data Models in BI Publisher utilizing complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, XML, and XSLT to extract and structure data from Oracle Fusion and OAC
• Interactive Analytics: Build and maintain interactive dashboards, analysis, and OAC data visualizations to support executive decision‑making
• Report Delivery & Bursting: Configure report bursting (splitting/delivering report data to multiple destinations) and implement automated scheduling, printing, and emailing
• Develop applications in compliance with functional and non‑functional requirements
• Construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non‑functional requirements
• Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
• Contribute to the design of components or individual programs
• Provide production support for applications as needed
• Work with subject matter experts reviewing technical designs and specifications
• Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs
• Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

• BI Publisher: Advanced proficiency in creating RTF templates using Microsoft Word and BI Publisher Desktop plugins.
• Database & SQL: Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL for structured data modeling.
• Oracle Tools: Solid experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle PL/SQL.
