Qualifications

• Strong expertise in C/C++ and low-level systems programming.
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals, memory and IO subsystems.
• Experience with storage stacks, IO paths, and clustering.
• Experience building high-scale distributed systems.
• Proven debugging skills across user space and kernel space.
• Ability to design scalable systems and influence architecture.

We are hiring an experienced Systems Engineer to work on core infrastructure powering large-scale data platforms at Client. This role focuses on low-level systems engineering, including Linux kernel, storage systems, and distributed architecture.

What You'll Work On

• Design and build systems around file systems, volume managers, and clustering
• Work deeply within the Linux kernel, IO stack, and storage subsystems
• Develop and optimize large-scale distributed systems
• Solve complex performance, scalability, and reliability challenges
• Perform deep debugging and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence

What We're Looking For

• Strong C/C++ systems programming
• Deep understanding of Linux internals (kernel, memory, IO, file systems)
• Experience with storage systems / IO path
