Job summary

Omnissa is seeking an experienced Senior Java backend engineer to design, develop, and optimize secure access solutions for enterprise applications. You will implement high-performance, containerized Java apps supporting remote access across cloud platforms and design RESTful APIs with a strong emphasis on security and scalability.

Responsibilities include leading architecture design, code reviews, and mentoring teams while driving CI/CD automation and QA.

Qualifications

• 9 to 13 years of enterprise Java backend experience.
• Strong cloud and container orchestration background.
• Proficient in Java, multi-threading, Spring, REST APIs.
• Experience in designing large-scale distributed, high-availability systems.
• Solid understanding of MFA, SSO, TLS, HTTPS.
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, Bash/Python, Angular.
• Excellent problem-solving, algorithm design, and communication.

• Design, develop, and optimise secure access solutions for enterprise applications, including virtual desktop, SaaS, and internal resources.
• Implement high‑performance, scalable, containerized Java applications that support remote access across all cloud platforms.
• Design RESTful APIs and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and team members to deliver high‑quality features and architecture.
• Lead component‑level architectural design, code reviews, and maintain coding standards.
• Automate unit and integration tests within CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability.
• Apply security concepts including MFA, SSO, TLS, and authentication protocols to protect application access.
• Engage in asynchronous event‑driven frameworks such as Netty, WebSocket, Kafka, and functional Java8 patterns.

Qualifications

• 9 to 13 years of experience in enterprise‑grade Java backend engineering (BE/Btech/ME/MTech).
• Strong background in cloud‑based architecture, container orchestration, and AI technology.
• Proficiency in Java, multi‑threading, Spring, networking, and REST API design.
• Experience designing large‑scale distributed systems, high‑availability, and asynchronous pipelines.
• Solid understanding of security concepts: MFA, SSO, TLS, HTTPS, and general authentication mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Bash/Python scripting, and Angular frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving, algorithm design, and communication skills.
