Experience - 5 - 8 years

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Functional Testing and Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in functional testing, developing robust automation frameworks, and scripting in Selenium and TypeScript. This role requires an individual who can work independently, solve complex problems, and contribute effectively to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and execute functional test cases to ensure software quality.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and TypeScript.
Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios.
Identify, document, and report defects, ensuring efficient bug resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and QA teams) to ensure proper implementation of test strategies.
Perform API testing and integration testing as required.
Monitor and improve test automation coverage to reduce manual efforts.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in test automation.
Ensure timely delivery of test deliverables while maintaining high accuracy and quality.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in functional testing and test automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.) is a plus.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
Experience in scrum testing is needed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
