Qualifications

• 6+ years of software industry experience with a successful track record in product automation.
• Hands‑on experience in languages such as Java, C#, Python, Rest Assured, and Selenium/Playwright.
• Experience with Agile methodology for software testing and development.

• Experience with test design, scripts, automation, and reporting.
• Ability to influence quality across teams and drive improvements.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test case creation and failures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to writing, updating, and maintaining automated test scripts within existing frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploration testing during sprint cycles.
• Ensure proper reporting of Automated Test Execution results and provide detailed reports with failure analysis.
• Provide detailed reports with failure analysis of automated tests.
• Coordinate with Dev, QEs, Product Owners, and DevOps in Agile setup.
• Identify quality issues and report to the dev team.
• Map test requirements from specifications and design coverage plans.
• Execute manual and automated test cases.
• Work with CI processes and build/deploy pipelines.

Job Title: Software Engineer in Quality - II

Your Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Contribute to writing, updating, and maintaining automated test scripts within existing frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploration testing during sprint cycles.
• Ensure test scripts are always up to date and monitor their status during every run.
• Ensure proper reporting of Automated Test Execution results and provide detailed reports with failure analysis.
• Coordinate closely with Dev, QEs, Product Owners, and DevOps in an agile setup, taking ownership from build, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
• Identify potential quality issues and report them to the development team.
• Responsible for identification of test requirements from defined specifications, mapping test case requirements, and designing test coverage plans.
• Execute both manual and automated test cases.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Continuous Integration process, and ability to create and execute jobs pipeline.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years of software industry experience with a successful track record in product automation.
• BE/BTech/MCA/Equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited university or college.
• Hands‑on experience in languages such as Java, C#, Python, Rest Assured, and Selenium/Playwright.
• Experience with Agile methodology for software testing and development.
• Experience with test designing, test cases, test scripts, test automation, and test reporting.
• Excellent problem‑solving and logical thinking skills, and an understanding of the impact of technology on business challenges, processes, and efficiency.
• Ability to influence and drive quality across teams, disciplines, and the organization.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools responsibly to improve test case creation, understand failures faster, and draft effective prompts under guidance.

Preferred Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with Java, C#, JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured.
• Hands‑on experience with UI automation tools like Selenium, and any Desktop application Automation Tool such as Test Stack White, FlaUI.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/Gitlab.
• Good knowledge of Testing Concepts.
• Good quantitative and analytical abilities.
