Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Asset and Wealth Management Technology team. You will design and deliver scalable, secure frontend solutions using React.js/Next.js, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

You will leverage AI-assisted development tools, perform code reviews, and stay current with frontend technologies and UX best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, and experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Flux).
• Strong background in front-end development and a proven track record of designing and implementing user interfaces.
• Experience with AWS ecosystem.
• Familiarity with ECMAScript 6+ and RESTful APIs.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Knowledge of UX and code versioning tools like Git.

As a Software Engineer III at the company within the Asset and Wealth Management Technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and optimize application performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js and Next.js.
• Utilize extensive hands‑on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to enhance front‑end development.
• Build reusable components and front‑end libraries for future use.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web‑capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Leverages enterprise‑authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise‑authorized AI‑assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging front‑end technologies and best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6+), experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js), and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization and familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, with strong understanding of UX principles and ability to create intuitive user interfaces.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and platform teams.
• Hands‑on experience using enterprise‑authorized AI‑assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI‑generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices.
