Job summary

Google is seeking a software engineer to develop next‑generation technologies that power how billions connect and interact with information. You will work on a project critical to Google’s needs, with opportunities to switch teams as you grow in a fast‑moving environment.

Responsibilities include writing code, participating in design reviews, code review feedback, and updating documentation. Candidates should have strong Java skills and frontend experience with modern JS frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with Java software development, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Experience in front-end web development using client-side JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Angular, or React).
• Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with APIs and UI–backend integration (GraphQL/Java).
