MRI Software is seeking a Software Engineer Level 3 in Bengaluru. You will own the end-to-end development of significant features, architect interfaces, and mentor junior engineers. Expect strong coding discipline, modular design, and active use of AI tools to boost productivity and solution quality.

You’ll collaborate in an Agile environment, contribute to CI/CD, and ensure deployment readiness while delivering secure, scalable software with robust testing and performance tuning.

Qualificações

• 7–13 years experience in software development or similar roles.
• Experience designing and delivering medium to large features with ownership.
• Strong coding skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Ability to design modular, scalable solutions and use design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Job Description – Software Engineer (Level 3)

Experience: 7–13 years

Role Overview

Software Engineer Level 3 is a seasoned individual contributor responsible for designing and delivering complex features with strong ownership. The role requires depth in coding, ability to create modular designs, mentor junior engineers, and effectively use AI tools to improve productivity and solution quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of medium to large features or modules.
• Design components, APIs, workflows, and reusable utilities.
• Write high-quality, secure, scalable, and well-tested code.
• Perform in-depth debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor Level 1 & Level 2 engineers through code reviews and guidance.
• Participate actively in Agile processes including estimation, refinement, and sprint planning.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment readiness, and environment stability.
• Use AI tools for design improvements, code generation, test automation, documentation, and solution analysis.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in .NET Core, Angular REST APIs, microservices basics, and database design.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Good understanding of design patterns, modular architecture principles, and integration patterns.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure / AWS / GCP).
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in writing and reviewing unit tests, API tests, and performance tests.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring ability.
• AI Skills:
  • Skilled in using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI) for coding, design suggestions, and documentation.
  • Ability to validate AI-generated output and incorporate it responsibly in development.
  • Understanding of AI-assisted development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), containerization, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in performance optimization and building reusable frameworks/utilities.
