You will play a key role in designing and building our market-leading software products as we continuously increase cloud maturity and mobility. You will be part of an agile team to design, build, test, and support PDI\'s enterprise software solutions. You will review, recommend, and implement system enhancements to improve quality, performance, and maintainability. You will contribute to an ever-improving engineering environment by ensuring stakeholders (engineers, architects, product owners, SREs, IT Ops) are informed of status and supported in their roles.

Qualifications:

With a variety of environments, platforms, technologies, and languages, you must be comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments and learning multiple programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and contribute to design decisions for new and existing application development, proactively escalating issues and seeking assistance to overcome obstacles
• Lead small and medium-sized projects
• Guide and train less experienced engineers
• Work with Architecture and DevOps teams to evaluate tools, processes, and technologies
• Partner with Product Management to consult on solution feasibility and high-level effort estimation
• Prepare and provide project status and risk assessments to ensure programs stay on schedule
• Make recommendations for data model and framework improvements, analyzing trends and best practices
• Actively develop software solutions for PDI products
• Perform testing to ensure systems meet user requirements
• Use Agile methods to analyze and determine preferred technical solutions
• Troubleshoot, test, and validate software issues; maintain documentation
• Compile test results to support problem solving
• Perform engineering-level tests to find defects; troubleshoot production issues with QA collaboration
• Work with Product Owner to clarify and estimate feature work
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop test plans and resolve issues during release stabilization

Qualifications

• 5-9 years’ experience designing and developing software in a product development environment
• Proficiency in .Net and C#, SQL, JavaScript Web Frameworks (e.g., Angular), ASP.NET MVC
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and Azure DevOps or Jira
• 1+ year of experience as a technical team lead (preferred)
• 2+ years of practical Agile development experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently in a high-paced team
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
• Problem-solving and analytical skills under pressure
• Collaborative, eager to learn, and able to work with best-practice standards
