Job summary

As a Software Engineer II in Corporate Technology, you are an integral part of an agile team, designing and delivering trusted technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will enhance your skills while contributing to impactful solutions that support the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities
  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for technology products and applications
  • Writes secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language
  • Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of system implications
  • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to improve automation value
  • Gathers, analyzes, and develops insights from large, diverse data sets to support secure, stable application development
  • Learns and applies system processes and methodologies for developing secure, stable code and systems
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
  • Hands‑on practical experience in application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficient in coding in one or more languages
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming and database querying languages
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Familiarity with Databricks
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS
