UKG is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Noida team. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex .NET/C# software solutions and services used across enterprises worldwide.

You'll mentor juniors and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and frontend tasks with JavaScript/jQuery, while collaborating in an Agile environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET/C# and SOLID/OOP.
• Build and consume RESTful Web APIs.
• Write and optimize SQL Server queries and procedures.
• Develop and maintain unit and automated tests (Moq).
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on IIS.
• Develop client-side functionality with JavaScript/jQuery.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex software systems, as well as mentoring junior engineers. Our team is looking for strong talent with expertise in the following areas:Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / C#, applying sound design patterns and principles (SOLID, OOP, etc.)Build and consume Web APIs (RESTful services)Write and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database objectsDevelop and maintain unit and automated test suites using frameworks like MoqDeploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications hosted on IISDevelop client-side functionality using JavaScript/jQueryLeverage AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to accelerate development, debugging, and documentation, applying sound prompt engineering practicesPerform API testing using tools such as Postman/SoapUI (or your preferred tool)Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deploymentUse version control tools like GitHub for source management, branching, and code reviewsWork within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint ceremonies (standups, planning, retros)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issuesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.2+ years of professional software development experience.Deep expertise in .Net/C# programming language and extensive experience withDesign patterns and principles (SOLID, OOP, common architectural patterns)SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance basics)Web API developmentUnit testing frameworks (e.g., Moq) and automation testingIIS deployment and configurationJavaScript / jQueryCI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Hands-on experience implementing or integrating OAuth 2.0–based authentication and authorization in .NET applications.Version control tools like GitHub (Git workflows, branching strategies, pull requests/code reviews)Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar LLM tools, including prompt engineeringAPI testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindsetSelf-driven and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervisionGood communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable collaborating in cross-functional and Agile teamsGood to Have:Exposure to observability/monitoring tools like Splunk, GrafanaAngular (or other modern JS frameworks)Prior experience with Kafka or other messaging/streaming systemsExposure to GCP or other cloud platformsCompany Overview:UKG is the Workforce Operating Platform that puts workforce understanding to work.
